"The Hidden Power" is a key essay from the New Thought movement of the early 20th century, written by Thomas Troward. Troward was a judge in British-administered India, where he made a personal study of the teachings of Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. After retiring from the bench in 1896, he began lecturing and publishing on "Mental Science," eventually becoming president of the International New Thought Alliance. In "The Hidden Power," Trowards hypothesis is that to realize fully how much of our present daily life consists in symbols is to find the answer to the old, old question, "What is Truth?". He seeks to teach readers that there is an inner and outer side to everything; and the quality of the superficial mind which causes it to fail in the attainment of Truth is its willingness to rest content with the outside only. This book is an excellent resource for those who are interested in key writings from the New Thought movement and also those who are fans of the works by Thomas Troward. This is an offline book. You can read it anywhere.
